I love you mom. I miss you. Send your love to Stephen, Kaylee,  and I. We need it now more than ever I think.  I wish you were here.  So much we could do together.. so many talks we could be having.. your strength and love helped me through horrible times and I could use that now to navigate through a current struggle I'm facing. But you were more than just what you offered.  Please know that.  I miss you as my friend most. Fly high, and send my love to all our angels up there. Give an extra hug to Aunt Char for me. I'm going to miss her too, a lot.. I miss you all. I love you all.

Mom, I miss you. Another year has past. Another Thanksgiving without you by our side. This year you will have both parents with you at your heavenly table, along with our forever missed and loved aunt, Whoopie. Losing you was horrible, then your mom- my second mother.. heartbreaking, and now the closest thing I felt to a dad, your father and my grandpa... it's very lonely down here. I miss your spirit. I miss grandma's love, I miss grandpa's smile, and I miss Whoopie's heart. I have songs I sing often to you all. You each have your own. I hope you hear me when I sing to or talk to you. Whenever I see 11:11 on the clock, I send 4 kisses heavenward. One for you each. 1,1.. 1,1..  

Please.. if there's any way you can send me a sign that I will see you again someday... I need that peace. My faith is shaken and I'm so scared I'll never see you guys again. Especially you, mom.

Someone bought your old house recently mom.  It's hard to let go... but I'm trying desperately to stand tall and stay strong.  Just know,  you may be gone... but you will NEVER be forgotten.  I hope I see you again some day.  The thought of never again terrifies me and breaks my heart.  I simply have to keep the faith.  All of my love, to you.  

I am proud to call myself your daughter mom, and I hope I make you proud. I love you. 

I hope someday the pain of your loss goes away. I thank God I have your son, my brother. I know I can always count on him. We miss you. Kaylee still talks about you and will never forget you.

Mom... I never forget you. I miss you so much... I would give anything to see you again.. Or just to talk to you. 

Mommy, I can feel you all around me... Christmas was impossible without you it felt.. so was celebrating your parents' 60th anniversary without you. I know you were there with us the whole time though... We all could feel you and Whoop near. I miss you more than I can bare some days. I have never felt more alone in my life. I know I drove you nuts but understand I did it because I loved having you around.. I loved talking to you (I still talk to you) and I really just wanted you to always know I loved you forever. Our love was unconditional. Mother and child. It's inevitable as I have come to realize with my Kaylee. My heart breaks to think of if I will ever get married, or have another baby... And you not being there to see it. Though I know should I choose those paths in my life you will be right by my side... It just hurts me that you won't be there to give me away like I wanted at my wedding. I didn't mind not having a real dad for the daddy daughter dates and having no dad I was comfortable with giving me away. John took care of us kids and I love him always but it wasn't the same to me for some reason, though I had nothing to compare it to. Regardless..  it breaks my heart to try to imagine my future without you. 

Stephen hurts. He has a hard time showing it but to all who know him... You can see it in his eyes. I know you are watching over us but for the record we are trying to be a bit closer and he is trying to be kinder and more open with me. For that I am grateful.. but I think it would have happened even without this tragedy when he was ready. I am grateful to have given you the granddaughter I did... I am glad you were in the room and got to see the whole thing. I am glad we all made it this year to a mother's day breakfast you got to have with all your kids. I just wish we had more time. That you could have seen Steve as he blossoms and see us get married and buy houses etc etc. I hope someday I will get to see you again. I love you dearly. Forever. Xoxo

This is my cousin, a sister I came to know, I loved her quite deeply, I loved her so.
She left way to early, she left without sound. She was on her way, she was Heaven bound.
I will miss her greatly, no words can explain so, as I wonder and question why did she have to go.
I wont say goodbye, I wont mourn that you've past, I'll only be thankful your without pain finally, at last.

Once I wrote a poem when I was in a lot of pain, never once thinking someday I'd be here again. I haven't written in the longest time, since then I could never find a decent rhyme. But my heart is heavy low and behold, and never before has my stomach like this, rolled. A love unconditional- I've lost at last, a strike to my heart that shall never pass. To lose a mother is a pain I cannot describe, a feeling so desperate it's impossible to hide. I've never felt quite so alone, especially when I only had to pick up a phone. Now that's gone and I can't say why.. why is it the best people have to die? Why is it their days fly by? It feels impossible to move on from here, especially when her soul is so dear. I miss her more than words can say, I can't wait until I see her again someday. Someday that will come but for now I must wait, because before I reach that heavenly gate, I have a lot more I need to do here, for my Kaylee needs her mommy near. Mom you were so special a gift so complete, it hurts my heart that so suddenly you had to leave. Your love is so strong and I know it's undying, how can I ever find that strength to stop crying? My daughter's birth you helped me there, for that I can't repay your true love and care. But in your heart- there was the true flare, the best part of you that you could share. Your personality was unlike any other, I couldn't imagine a more perfect mother. You may have made mistakes- that we cannot hide, but what matters most is what lies deep inside. Your choices do not define who you are, they aren't what leaves the biggest scar. You meant so much more than the troubles you faced, so much so all of them could be entirely erased. The heartache you endured throughout your life, it must have felt like being carved with a knife. The pain and suffering, the guilt and fear, the sadness in wondering, "when will I finally be done here?" Alas, it is over- you've done all you were meant to do. Finally you can take care of all you needed for you. Knowing that it's all over I couldn't be more glad, and now you will never have to feel sad. I just hope I make you proud as you watch over me from above, I want you to know there will never be another love, like that in my heart that I have for you, the only comparison I have is for our Whoopie 2. Our love is unconditional that will never change, and I know in my heart that it will never be the same. A light has left this world and it feels like my walls are closing in. I don't know how to find happiness within. But then I look into my daughter's eyes, and they're inside my mother lies. I know I've lost you from this world, but you'll always be inside that little girl. Your memory I will never leave behind, and to her I will always be keen to remind, of that precious soul watching over she and I, way up high in the big blue sky. I miss you and I love you.. that I cannot deny. I want to thank you for always standing by. Your loss will leave me always asking why? Why do the good ones always have to cry? And then I will realize maybe that's why, why the good ones are always the first to die. They give their all for all their life, even through all their pains and strife. They fight for those they love the most, and would give anything just to help each coast. They do all they can to make this world a little brighter, even though sometimes the struggle can't feel tighter. I think once they have given all the love they have to give, in heaven is where they are all meant to live. I once wrote a poem when I was in a lot of pain, but now I realize even though I am hurt again, the two I loved most are together at last, a love that could never cease to the past. My mom's heart was broken, and alas there is a mend, with her sister's hands her sadness has finally reached it's end. She can go on without any doubt, she can live with hope, she can die while still living, and she will never lose what she thought she had to let go.. these feelings I will always know. This poem is like a picture, it's worth a thousand words... And now I know, in the sky there are much more than birds. I may have mistaken the feathers I saw above, they are nothing in comparison to even the whitest of dove. The angels above are watching over us and finally they are free, my mom is one of them and will always be right here with me.
