Terence Edward Nielsen

October 21, 1992November 10, 2019

Terence Edward (Ten Mill) Nielsen Taylor, age 27, gained his Heavenly wings, much too soon, on Sunday, November 10, 2019 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on October 21, 1992 in Utah where he lived until age 11. He then moved to Alabama. Terence began his school career in Orem, Utah and finished his school career at Ohatchee High School in Ohatchee, AL, with a certification in Auto body collision repair from the technical college. He moved back to Utah at age 19, where he stayed with friends and family, trying to find his path. He always was smiling and laughing, and even when he was down on his luck, he stayed positive.

He was very generous, almost to a fault and it didn't matter if he knew you or not, he wanted to help. He is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if needed. Terence took each challenge he faced in stride, and he had more challenges than most. He is a cancer survivor and has beaten the odds when others would have given up. We cannot be more proud as parents to have such an amazing, generous young man as a son. He will be greatly missed.

Terence is survived by his mother, Mary (Nielsen) Taylor, father, Michael Taylor; brother, Jordan Taylor; grandmother, Doris Nielsen; grandfather, Cecil Taylor (Jennifer); uncle, Greg Doran (Vikki); aunts, Pat Massey, Linda Purchase (Dave), Bonnie Nielsen; cousins, Dillon Thomas, Derrick and Heather Doran, Devon and Julia Doran, Stephanie Thomas, Mike Doran, Charles Doran, Ashley Doran, Sarah Doran, plus many, many more. He is also survived by his friends that were more like family, Patrick (Kristin) Colley, Justin (Justice) Mitchell, Chris Gruber, Pedro Jimenez, Joe Burger, Keanthony Gray, Anthony DiCicco, Crystal Roddenberry, AJ Potter, Katy Payne, Heather Jensen and her children, Chevelle and Taeden, Kourtney and her children, plus so many more. He is also survived by his biological father, John Obinna.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Merwin L. Nielsen; grandmother, Billie Jean Taylor; biological grandparents, Anthony and Fidelia Obinna; uncles, Michael Edward Doran, Jerome Eugene Doran, Dennis James Doran; aunts, Carol Jean Doran, Lois (Nielsen) Stagg, Barbara Nielsen, Lorraine (Nielsen) Childs.

A memorial service in Terence’s honor will be Sunday, November 17, 2019. Please contact the family for additional details.

Terence was truly one of a kind and I'm very blessed to be able to meet someone like you. If everyone had Terence's outlook on life this world would be a better place. I'll never forget the memories in school and when we worked at jacks together there never a dull moment. Heaven gained an amazing angel. Fly high brother ❤

Terrence, I never knew you for very long, but I remember a very sweet and kind of quiet young man. I know God wanted you in his Kingdom, so he took you way too early from us. Fly high fellow, for we will all miss you greatly. Our prayers and our love will go out to your Mom and Dad and to Jordan. And our memories of you will dwell in our hearts forever as we wait for our time to join you . Love always from Aunt Pearl.
