Terrill married Thayne F. Hope on April 4, 1969. Raised three boys together then later divorced.
Terrill worked in the field of electronics for 20 years. She owned and operated Critters Pet Store, and was the secretary of their business, Superior Fiber Glass.
We all need sunshine and clouds to see rainbows, Terrill had her share of both. She was very loving to her three boys, giving support to each as needed. She was a guide dog to Doug, Marc’s pitching coach and catcher, and Jeff’s best friend. She had the right amount of toughness, tenderness and sense of humor to raise three boys. Terrill always stepped up in times of need. Giving 100% to Jeff’s illness, helping Marc recover from his accident, supporting her Grandson as he battled cancer, and being the sole caregiver for her mother.
There was no challenge she wouldn’t take on. She was like the Energizer Bunny with so much energy. She worked side by side with the men building the family cabin. She put in all the time and effort needed to make their dream of opening a pet store come true. She took on the responsibility of a secretary when they took over Superior Fiberglass.
When Terrill took an interest in something she always gave it her all. She excelled in bowling a game she truly loved. The year she started collecting native décor every room in their home was re-decorated, and when they started showing their ’56 Chevy, there wasn’t a car show or cruise they missed that first year.
Terrill was so much fun to be around her go to phrase was “Oh what ever”. With such an infectious laugh it would draw people to her, like the time in a Lake Tahoe casino when the way we found her was hearing her laughter.
Surviving relatives, sons Doug (Dawn) Hope, Marc Hope and Jeffery Hope. Her Sister Marilyn K. Aspey. Six Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her Father, Mother, and a Great Granddaughter.
