August 5, 2016 Tirrell Felton passed quietly in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia to the late Grant A. Felton Jr. and Hilda L. Felton. Tirrell was the seventh of eight children. Tirrell was a humorous man who filled the hearts of many with his infectious smile and the love he shared with others.
In 1990 Tirrell graduated from Salem High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Tirrell then relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the Latter Day Saints Business College where he received an Associate Degree in Business. Tirrell continued his education at the University of Phoenix and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. He entered the Army National Guard in 1996. He then later enlisted in the United States Army after being deployed full time in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and the Global War on Terrorism. Upon his discharge from the Army, Tirrell was employed at the United States Homeland Security as a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent for many years.
Tirrell Felton enjoyed spending time with family; especially with his daughters; Taryn, Kyra and Kaley. He also enjoyed bowling, performing as a comedian, eating and taking selfies. His newest hobby was genealogy where he discovered his family history. However, his true love was being an ideal dad.
