Utona Kay Wilson

Utona Kay Wilson was reunited with her dad and mom, Willis Ray Fellows and Vera Broadhead Fellows, her sister Pamela A. Anderson, grandson Conner Wilson, three nephews Jason LaFleur, Clayton Feldman, Lee Bowman, and one niece Rachel Wilson. She was born on September 9, 1960 in Salt Lake County, Utah to Willis Ray Fellows and Vera Broadhead Fellows. She was raised with two sisters and one brother in Magna, Utah. She graduated from Cypress High School in 1978. Utona married her true love twice. First one on February 14, 1982 and remarried him again May 20, 2006 and together they had one daughter, one son, and two grandkids.

Utona loved her husband very much and she cherished her kids and grandkids. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and aunt. She worked at Cyprus High School as a contract cook for 15 years until she retired. She also worked at Smiths Deli for seven years. She loved going to Plasters with her mom Vera, sister Raydean, brother Byron, and sister Pam. She was excited to teach her daughter, niece, and granddaughter how to paint. She loved camping and being in the mountains. Her family was everything to her. She always had an open heart and an open door, it didn’t matter if she knew the person or not. She loved getting together for the holidays and going out on Christmas Eve to dinner and looking at lights. She loved her family and her family at Smith’s and Cyprus. Her granddaughter, Kailee was her angel from heaven and she made sure to tell her that every day.

Utona is survived by her husband Raymond Kirk Wilson, daughter Ulonda Fellows, son William Wilson, granddaughter Kailee Wilson, sister Raydean F. Wright, brother Byron (Lori) Fellows, sister-in-law Cindy (Jack) Boone, brother-in-law Jerry (Nancy) Wilson, Don (Dawn) Wilson, sister-in-law Dina (Chuck) Wilson.

Utona Wilson was preceded in death by her parents Willis Ray Fellows and Vera Broadhead Fellows, sister Pamela A. Anderson, grandson Conner Wilson, three nephews Jason LaFleur, Clayton Feldman, and Lee Bowman, and one niece Rachel Wilson.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Valley View Funeral Home on 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the LDS church on 3100 South 8400 West, Magna Utah at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends viewing is from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services.
