Valerie L. Childs, 74, passed away on September 23, 2015 in Heartland, Texas. She was born on May 24, 1941 in Dingle, Idaho to James and Louis Larocco. She later married Jack F. Childs on February 15, 1962 in Elko, Nevada.
Valerie is survived by her children: Steven Childs, Jim Childs, Donald Childs and Theresa Childs Hinkle; sister, Pauline Dayton; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack; two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services for Valerie will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
