Walt passed away quietly and peacefully on Wednesday. He was an active member of the LDS church and had served in the Korean War. He leaves behind his wife Jolene Ericson Tucker Cummings, sister Eleanor Cummings Conant and nine stepchildren, and many grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Betty Joy Puttz Cummings, parents Joseph Newton Cummings and Birdella Chamberlain Cummings, three sister and four brothers. He will be dearly missed.
A viewing will be held Friday April 11th 6-8 pm at Valley View Memorial 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City and from 10-10:45 am Saturday morning followed by a funeral service at 11 at the LDS chapel located at 7035 West Lochness Ave, West Valley City, Utah. Internment at the Cleveland City Cemetery, Utah.
