Walter R. Sorensen died on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the age of 68. We say goodbye to a loving son, brother and friend. We will miss him, but know we will see him again.
Wally was born on December 27, 1943 to William Plummer and Marjorie Jorgensen Sorensen. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, William, Gerald and Larry. Surviving him are his sister, Barbara Martineau (Marty); his brothers, Kenneth Sorensen (Annette) and James Glen Sorensen (Gail), and many nieces and nephews. He was a Certified First Responder and Volunteer Fire Fighter. He was willing to help anyone, where ever he was asked. His gentle, loving spirit will be deeply missed.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
