After a 33 year battle with lupus, Patrick died in the early hours of February 6th 2021. He was surrounded by family in his last hours. Patrick was born December 4th, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mel and Bev Draper. Patrick had a voracious interest in knowing how things worked, and sought out new knowledge every day. He joined Varian Medical Systems at 18 and learned to blow glass, which became a lifelong interest. His biggest loves outside of his family were his Fender Stratocaster and his 1971 Monte Carlo, which will stay in the family. He was most proud of his four children, and he would tell anyone that would listen how successful each of them are.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; children Vanessa, Tasha, Nick, and Molly. Father Mel (Wendy), Aunt Rusty, and many close friends and coworkers. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bev; brother Scott, and many loved ones and pets.
As per his wishes, no funeral will be held and he will be cremated. A celebration of life ceremony will be held once it is safe to do so.
In lieu of flowers or donations, live your life like Patrick did, without regrets and to the fullest.
