I was just thinking about Wendy today as I was looking at who I was going to send Christmas cards to and I realize that Wendy has been gone from this earthly existence for a few months now, but I wanted to write something here nevertheless.  I met Wendy at Insur-West. She took my place when I left working there back in 2006. I trained her my last week and she seemed to catch on to insurance like it was second nature. She was always smiling and that brightened my day. I kept in touch with her a little and I just knew from the short time I knew her that she was a kindred spirit. She is full of integrity which is something that a lot of people don't seem to have these days. She and I swaped mission experiences, which was quite fun and entertaining! What a great example she has been to me! She will be greatly missed, but she's now in a better place preparing for when our Saviour will come again to the earth.

Dear Partridge family, my tears are blurring these words as I am remembering your sweet little Wendy. I remember her as the sweet, cute little girl I babysat in West Jordan and am so happy to see the beautiful young lady she became. I've often thought about her over the years and wondered what happened to her and how she was doing. It's no surprise to find out she became a strong, courageous, happy, delightful woman. I absolutely adored her as a child. Although I was young too, I felt that there was something so special about her. I am grateful to have a chance to get to know the adult Wendy through the words and pictures shared here. She truly is an inspiration. Our condolences to all your wonderful family!  The funeral was a marvelous celebration of a marvelous life.  Wendy is a remarkable young woman, and she has a remarkable family who supported her and saw to it that she had every opportunity she desired.  You, Connie and Mark, Rick and Heidi, and Julianne and Cory are to be commended for the never ending love, devotion, and care you have given her through these 33 years. I had the privelege and honor of knowing Wendy when I was in the Centerville 18th Ward.  She was a Relief Society teacher.  I used to look forward to the weeks I knew she was teaching.  She had such a remarkable testimony of the Gospel and love of the Savior that it was inspiring.  Later, I got to know her better when I became her visiting teacher.  It wasn't until I had known her for some time that I learned of the extent of her health challenges.  I was so surprised when I learned that she had Cystic Fibrosis.  She never let it get in her way of anything, even serving a full-time mission.  Her upbeat attitude, optimism, and infectious laugh were delightful.  It was a joy to be around her.  It was apparent that she loved and knew the Savior, and she loved others as he does.  I draw inspiration and strength from her example.  May God bless and comfort your family during this time of loss and always.  And may her memory warm your hearts each and every day.

Wendy has inspired many and has been an incredible example to all those she meets.  She was one of my mission companions :)  She was hard working, dedicated, and selfless to give 18 months of her life to serve our Father in Heaven.  She has touched my life for the better.  When we were missionaries in the MTC, we would gather and sing "God be with you till we meet again" to all the departing missionaries. The spirit was always so powerful.  And I know Wendy has just departed to the next mission in life, like she said "a brighter, whiter mission".   Thank goodness for the knowledge we have of the plan of salvation.  Love always!

I was the hospice nurse that was there that last day. Wendy and your family are such an inspiration to me. I am so sorry for your loss. Wendy sounded like such a strong and amazing woman. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Connie, Mark and family:  I have been out of town and just found out about Wendy passing away.  I am so sorry that I wasn't able to come to the viewing.  Wendy always had such a sweet spirit about her.  She was really special.  You both are such good parents and took such good care of her.  Her testimony that you shared in her obituary was so touching.  She is so amazing.  I pray Heavenly Father will bless you with the peace and comfort you need.  I empathize with your loss since I have recently lost my mother, father and sister.  Connie, I would love to talk to you sometime.

I am not sure if you will even remember me, my name was Chris Stevens when I lived in your ward.  Janet Reid called and told me about your beautiful daughter Wendy's passing.  I am so glad she did.  We have had family members here and I hadn't been keeping up with the newspaper.  I was so sorry to hear of Wendy's passing.  I remember her as such an darling little girl and have heard and can tell what an amazing women she was.  It says so much about her to know she lived so long with such difficult health issues.  She sounded like a true inspiration to everyone around her.  I wish I could have known her as an adult, but I will learn from the example I have read in her obituary and what I have heard from others.  

Having lost my husband Robert, I do know the heartache of losing a loved one.  What a blessing it is to have the Gospel to help comfort us and give us the peace we need to get through these difficult times.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.  Time and knowledge of the Plan of Salvation do heal and I can testify to you that our loved ones on the other side do watch over us and we can feel their love. I do pray you will find peace and comfort through these next difficult days. Our Savior's love is so evident at these times.

Love is forever; from reading these messages one could only wish Wendy was known by all.

When I think of Wendy I think of her black bug, her beautiful dog, her Snickers for breakfast, her contagious laugh, her spunk when she talked about hospital procedures, her courage, her positive outlook, her absolute honesty, her gratitude for every opportunity, her deep understanding of spiritual things.  She has been such a great influence on every member of my family.  
      She cared for my own children when they were little and I knew they were in the best hands. She took care of several hundred children on the playground at Kaysville Elementary and they loved her.  She took care of our family business when she worked as the office manager - always looking for ways to improve efficiency. 
    This last Thursday when Bret called to tell me that she had passed away, he tried to leave a message on my phone.   His voice broke several times as he tried to get the words out.  We both loved her so much and are better people for having known her.

I attended the 18th ward with Wendy. I remember her as being such a great example to all around her. She was a great woman! My heart goes out to the family at this time.

Wendy was an amazing person who I remember well from my youth.  She was an example to all - those older and those younger.  I remember her contagious smile and laugh and her unconditional love for all.  We had many fun times walking, talking, and laughing together.  Thank you Wendy for being such a light.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Partridge family.

My heart and prayers go out to your sweet family. I've been lucky to not only know Wendy but also Rick and Heidi and Julieanne. I always looked up to Wendy and the strength and spirit that she's always had and It's helped me in my own struggles. She is loved by many and will be dearly missed. I won't be able to attend the viewing or funeral because of my own medical issues but once again you are in my prayers.

My life has been extremely blessed because I knew Wendy.  She is an amazing example of faith and endurance.  I look forward to the day I get to see her again!  All my love and prayers to Wendy's family.

My heart hurts thinking of a world without Wendy, but it is some comfort knowing she is no longer in pain. She is the most remarkable person I have ever had the honor of knowing.
