1978-2012
Wendy Jean Partridge, 33, returned home to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and her Savior after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She had that “never say die” attitude and never let her illness slow her down. Her life was a miracle--and those who had the privilege of knowing Wendy always felt the miracle.
Wendy has a valiant testimony of Jesus Christ and His perfect love for each of God’s children. She took every opportunity to share His love with those she met. She always saw the best in people and made every effort to inspire them and lift them up.
Four days before her death she shared her testimony, “I am going home soon. It has been a most wonderful life. Life goes on beyond the veil; there is responsibility and accountability for your choices. Jesus Christ lives and has established His church upon the earth in the Latter-days. We have prophets and apostles to guide each of us, just as those of yonder years had. How grateful I am to a loving Father in Heaven who taught me the power and staggering goodness of this life and our trials through it. I love you all! God be with you till we meet again!”
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Connie Partridge; her brother Rick (Heidi) Partridge, and sister Julianne (Cory) Weeks; and 6 nieces and nephews - Ethan, MacKenzee, Brielle, Rylan, Wendy Jo, and Valerie Eden.
Wendy and her family would like to express gratitude to her employers and co-workers at Insur-West; her CF community friends and caregivers; Dr. Charles White, our kind friends at Inspiration Hospice, and all the many, many wonderful friends she has known in her life.
