Dear Barizira family, 
I know that Willard was a kind and loving soul and he still is. I am Melissa Vidigal and I would like to say that Willard was an amazing person. I know he helped a lot of people and his family did too. He was smart and caring. I know he liked video games. And loves his family very much.  I would  to pay my respects to him and family. Thank you very much.

From the 8 years we’ve lived in Utah, there’s not a memory we could think of without Willard. He was more than a friend to us, he was like a brother. He was energetic, funny, and especially clever when playing games. He was competitive and a winner. There were many times we’d get in trouble for staying up past our bedtime because we were talking and making jokes. We’d search up songs on YouTube and “throw parties” which were really just us dancing around and singing at the top of our lungs. At school, despite the differences in age and classes, our friends knew him because he was kind and extremely talkative. We saw him so much that it was normal to drop by each others houses unannounced just to hang out. Willard and his family made us feel welcomed and happy in a new state. We miss him dearly, but there’s no greater gift then having gotten to know him. Thank you for being our friend Willard.

Willard was an empathetic and emotional young man. I remember him calling from the hospital in order to defend my son when he’d gotten in trouble. During our conversation, I felt immense pride and love seeing how deeply he cared for his friend. He was a wonderful role model and I’m grateful to have known such a kind boy. I give my prayers and deepest support to Suavis and his family. His love will always be present in this world.

Willard is my nephew. I saw him in June face by face he was a little baby in 2008 .and again the mother (my sister suavis)came to Zambia 2018 Willard send a gift radio which I can never forget in my life with my family. He was a good boy .May God be with him .Rest in peace Willard 

Dear Family of BARIZIRA Bonaventure and KANYANGE Suavis, I take this opportunity once again to express my sincere condolences at this difficult time. May our dear son Willard rest in peace because God loved him more than us and hopes we will meet again in heaven.

I didn't have the opportunity to know Willard well. However, from the interactions I did get to have with him, I knew Willard was such a great kid.
Kind, responsible, and helpful. I remember meeting Willard when he would spend time with Suavis at the office. He always came up and asked if there was anything he could do to help us. Whether that be wiping down the lobby or shredding papers. He always offered to help.
He was polite and always looking out for his little brother. 
One of my most vivid memories I have of Willard was when Suavis and I were leaving work with the boys. We had to cross the street to get to the parking garage. Suavis and I were walking together, and the boys were just up ahead. I remember Willard holding Devan's hand to cross the street and holding Devan's back pack when Devan had to tie his shoe. I remember thinking to myself what a sweet brother he was. 
I remember chatting with Willard about a shared passion for video games and seeing his brilliant smile.
Even in those small interactions, he made an impact on me and I know he was so very loved by his family. 
My heart and prayers go out to Suavis and the whole family.
May you always keep his love in your hearts.

Willard was such a lovely boy and fun to talk with. The few times we spoke , felt like we grew up together.  My wife always talks about him . He promised to cook for us when we come visiting.  This is sad to know ur no more. May ur gently soul rest in peace , til we meet again

It’s hard to believe that Willard is gone. The news of his passing came as shock that made me so sad. His gentle, caring and respectful demeanor is unforgettable. He touched the heart of everyone he came in contact with. Willard will be sorely missed. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.

Quel bel hommage pour une belle vieille âme. Willard était et restera une partie de l'incroyable énergie de cette famille. Qu'il ait été si gentil et respectueux envers son équipe médicale au Primary Children's Hospital n'est pas une surprise. Je reste avec le souvenir du beau sourire de Willard alors qu'il souriait d'une oreille à l'autre lorsqu'il a vu le panier de Pâques que je lui ai livré, ainsi qu'à ses frères et sœurs. Je suis une personne plus riche d'avoir cette famille gentille, humble et travailleuse dans ma vie. Que Dieu vous réconforte dans votre perte.

What a beautiful tribute for a beautiful old soul. Willard was and will remain a part of the incredible energy of this family. That he was so kind and respectful of his medical team at Primary Children's Hospital comes as no surprise. I am left with the memory of Willard's beautiful smile as he grinned from ear to ear when he saw the Easter basket I delivered to him and his siblings. I am a richer person in having this kind, humble, and hardworking family in my life. May God comfort you through your loss.

Franchement parlant la mort de notre tres tres Chers Frere Willard BARIZIRA a ete pour nous une epine dans la praie. We will never forget him. He is indeed an angel that God called. Could that God keep he is hand on the Willard'is family and friends, especially in those bad moments.
