William A. Duckworth passed away on October 29, 2015. He was born May 8, 1935 to Alfred and Helen Duckworth. A lifetime resident of Magna, he retired from Kennecott Copper. He married his sweetheart, Joan Holst on July 2, 1954. Bill loved making yard crafts and giving them to his family and friends, and loved to winter in Yuma with his many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Carl (Sue) Duckworth, Barbara (Terry) Pollock, and Kent Duckworth; brother, Richard (Carol) Duckworth; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and his lifelong friends whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by parents; daughter, Sandra Harper; and brothers, Merrill and Gord.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S. Viewings will be held Sunday 6-8 p.m. at the Lake Ridge 9th Ward, 7825 W.
