Andres Avalos was born in Jiquilpan, Michoacan to parents Elisa and Andres Alcaraz Avalos on January 11, 1953.
He married Sherry Cannefax on April 8th, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Andres received his Class A driver’s license and was a semi-truck driver for over 30 years. He was very proud of the moment he received his license and recounts how everyone at the DMV clapped and cheered for him once he passed his test.
He loved going on road trips and traveling to new places. He was always the life of the party and you never found him home on a weekend.
Andres was a devoted uncle who always ensured he made childhood magical for his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his charm, ear to ear smile, and his selflessness.
Andres is survived by his three brothers Jorge, Alvaro, Gustavo, as well as many nieces, nephews, and god-children. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Elisa Avalos.
A visitation for Andres will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM.
