Bette Kobayashi passed away on October 27, 2011 at the age of 89. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 2:30 pm in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel (14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA 92683. 714-893-2421) with a Reception to follow at the Westminster Memorial Park Hall. Her children, Bill Kobayashi Jr, Georgia (Terry) Yeager, Steven (Judy) Kobayashi, and Don (Ruth) Kobayashi; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren survive her. Bette was a lifelong resident of Fountain Valley where she enjoyed tending to her orchids and fruit trees. She was admired for her generous spirit whether it was cooking meals, baking, financial gifts and especially her time. She will be remembered for her cheerful personality by her relatives, her neighbors, the co-workers at Smith Tool and Sam’s Club and her many friends including members of the Wintersburg Presbyterian Church Senior Fellowship. She is dearly loved and will be missed greatly.
