Bonnie Lucille Field

Bonnie was born on October 15, 1920 in Boonville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of James William and Etta Julia Brown. In 1928, the family moved to Allison, Texas, where she graduated from Allison High school in 1937. Bonnie was active in school functions and played girl’s basketball where they were state champions.

In 1948, Bonnie married Don Field, her husband of 59 years. They met at the Long Beach, California Naval Yard and were married a year later.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Donald Field, three brothers, one sister and two sons. Bonnie is survived by her daughter; Donna Smith, and Bonnie’s youngest sister, five grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Bonnie will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 12:00 noon in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel with an interment service to follow in Westlake Mausoleum.
