Charles Thomas Quaif

Charles T. Quaif (Tom) passed away on March 11, 2013. His prayers were answered and he's no longer in pain. He is survived by his wife, Coreen who was always by his side. He is also survived by his son, Thomas (Michelle) and grandchildren Austin and Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO; Step-son Stephen Sopo (Tammy) and grandchildren Hailey and Shane of Garden Grove, CA; Sisters Sonia Sterling of Herkimer, NY and Bonnie McConnell (Pat) of Hesperia, CA; and other family members and friends from various states.

Tom was born 01-23-1945 in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Gordon and Ida Quaif.

Two days after his 17th Birthday (01-25-1962) Tom enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was proud to have served on the USS Kitty Hawk and the USS Shadwell. He was discharged on 08-19-1966.

In 1966 Tom began work at Douglas Aircraft, Santa Monica and retired from Boeing, Huntington Beach in 2000.

He was a proud member of the Westminster Elks, Huntington Beach Masonic, and the American Legion in Cypress.

When health permitted he enjoyed riding motorcycle and camping. He and Coreen took many memorable trips.

Tom will be truly missed.

Visitation/viewing to be held at Westminster Memorial Park on Friday, March 22 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with Celebration of Life services on Saturday, March 23 at 12:00.
