Concepcion "Nanang" Advincula Blanche

Concepcion “Nanang” Advincula Blanche was born February 24, 1922 to Hilaria Burgonio and Herminigildo Advincula in Santa, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She was the last child of seven children (Juana, Vicente, Maria, Jose, Catalino, and Basillio)

Nanang, spent her childhood in Sacuyya Sur, Santa Ilocos Sur. She attended Sucuyya Elementary School.

In 1946, she married Emilio Peralta Blanche and were blessed with six children Catalino (Lino), Senee, Vicente (Vic), Jose (Joe), Ramon Emilio (Eddie) and Evelyn. Nanang weaved blankets and would accompany her husband traveling to neighboring provinces to sell them to provide for their family.

In 1973, Nanang left the Philippines with Senee, Eddie and Evelyn to join Tatang in the United States. Nanang worked a few months at a popcorn factory. Nanang spent her time caring for her family and helping babysit the children of relatives and close friends.

Nanang enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family, playing bingo, and watching her favorite shows (Price is Right, Family Feud, All My Children and One Life to Live). Nanang could always be found at her sewing machine making her own dresses.

Nanang was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her daughters: Senee married to Ricardo Virgula; Evelyn married to Roy Pascua; sons: Vic married to Amelia Adviento; Joe married to Albine Lansangan, Eddie married to Bellie Beguija and daughter in law Fe Celeste, grandchildren: Kathryn Vanessa, Emily Jane, Christopher Avi, Sherwin Lee, Eric Scott, Kathleen Marie, Emmanuel Joseph, Earl Jordan; great grandchildren: Haylie Jane, Kaitlyn, Chiara, Blaise, Antonella, Ambrose, Lino and Maclovia Jane.

She is predeceased by her parents Hilaria Burgonio and Herminigildo Advincula, siblings: Juana, Vicente, Maria, Jose, Catalino, and Basillio, son Catalino Blanche and husband Emilio Blanche.

Concepcion’s family is very grateful to our Lord Almighty for blessing them with such a wonderful “Nanang” for many years. She will be missed by all.

A visitation for Concepcion will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683. A rosary will occur Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, 8100 Chapman Ave., Stanton, CA 90680. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683.
