I'll never forget his knowledge of music .. I went weekly to pick up my favorite albums .. at his store " The Music Box .. in San Clemente, California..he taught me a lot and my husband .. we became  good friends and later my husband did his roof in Huntington Beach ... I just found out and am so saddened.. like a piece of my heart gone ... God bless him and I know he's teaching up there in the heavens...😓🙏👼🎩🎶thank you for your friendship, the memories and knowledge..❤️Love you , love Steve and Cathy Cupito xoxoxo 😓🤗

jeff and cindy- i just found out that dale had passed away. i have missed seeing dale and jeff this past year but always thought i would see them both some day again and now to know that i can not hurts too much. you all was so lucky to have such an awesome dad and my thoughts and heart go out to you and yours. rest in peace dear dale we will always remember the fun times we had and every time i am in the sewing room i will think of you and mary ann.

To the Family and Friends of Dale Davis - I am deeply saddened to hear of Dale's passing. He was such an extraordinary person. He taught me the value of working... while I helped out at the music store as a teenager filing records and doing odd jobs around the store with Dave Mitchell. During the late 70's We used to talk and talk about everything from music trivia to what bluegrass was, while shrinkwrapping used albums and hanging posters.I even bought my first car stereo from him in payments, and have never forgotten what a stellar figure he was to my life.

And in later years at times... we visited about reworking album covers for The Flying Burrito Bros, and talked about Navy, Aviation.. and would go for a cup of coffee and converse about our kids and life as we knew it. 

My entire life I have admired Dale and sought to keep in contact , and while thinking about him today and searching the web I discovered his passing. SO...

Dale, you are forever in my heart and my prayers go out to all that were blessed to know you, as I am QUITE sure you are dearly missed.

Cindy,Becky,Mike,Randy Tim and Jeff - I look at the photos in the photo gallery and it brings back so many fond memories. I remember your dad driving Cindy, Jenny and I to his record store in San Clemente just about every weekend. I think of those times and it makes me smile. I am sorry for your loss. I miss you guys. I met Dale at Uncle Pete's Cafe with a group of people I had met there as well as retired friends from work.  Dale was always busy with his business but made time for his friends at Uncle Pete's. He always had great stories about his work and his life and family. Several Christmas breakfasts were at Uncle Pete's with the group and he was considered part of our family.  My prayers go out to Dale's family.

Its with great sadness hearing about a great friend passing, I met Dale back in the 80's,when he started coming on board base for our material needs. He always had a smile and great stories about life. He became part of our family and will surely be missed. To the family you had a great dad he was so proud of you when he spoke of how much you came into company and helped out. From my family to yours your in our prayers Dale will be missed. Al Hooper
