I just learned about Dennis' passing. So sorry for your loss.
Dennis is a unique man indeed! However, he's the most generous & inspiring Professor I have ever had! I was the most fortunate student at Northrop University (NU) Business College, Graduate Program. Dennis somehow picked me to be the recipient of NU's First Graduate Assistant which provided me with fully paid tuition & monthly stipend.
The Hawaii Thai Trade project was very exciting and fun. It's inspiring to work side by side with Dennis, Tracee and you! We learned so much from Dennis. I'd forever be grateful to this great man. I'm honored to have known him as my College Professor and friend!

Thank you to those that shared a memory. Ms. Nassi. Dennis always remarked you were his student when CBS credits rolled during the late night News broadcast. He was proud of you. Thanks everyone. I miss him, after 53 years together. He was a unique individual!

If this is the same Dennis Pollard who taught at Woodbury University, my heart is broken.  Dennis was a terrific professor who inspired me to do well.  When the Pacific Dining Car closed its doors, I thought of him, because he was the first person I went there with.  It was his birthday and class had just ended.  He had
given so much of himself, I thought I'd reciprocate and treat him to dinner.  I haven't spoken to him in decades, but his teachings will remain with me forever.

Dennis and Stu organized several of our class reunions for SHHS Class of 1962.  I fondly remember Dennis as MC.  He had a wide variety of talents and interests, and will be missed by his old classmates.

I graduated from Sunny Hills HS in Fullerton, Ca. with Dennis in 1962. We were the first graduating class. Dennis was a major player in leadership and sports.
