Donald Richards Cook

Donald Richards Cook was born on August 8th 1948 in Utah and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on December 31, 2023 in Southern California at the age of 75. Donald is survived by his daughter Michelle and four grandchildren, Sophia, Evan, Priscilla, and Denim, sisters Ann and Barbara, and brother Barry.

Donald spent his younger years in Utah and was raised by his mother and father Ross and Mary cook. He had a twin brother named David. As a young adult Donald relocated to Los Angeles and began a career with the Santa Fe Railroad Company. He also met Irma Vanegas and was blessed with a daughter Michelle and Son Jeremy. Donald relocated to Orange County and spent 42 years there until his passing.

Donald had a quirky and humorous personality. He was quite stubborn and always stood his ground. He loved jazz music and could name any actor in a movie. He always had a cup of strong black coffee in his hand. Anyone that knew him and invited him to their home knew to have coffee on hand! He was a loving grandfather. If Donald taught us anything through his death, is that we should all take care of our bodies, which include our physical and mental health.

We love you daddy and grandpa. Rest in heaven with your son Jeremy.
