She passed away in her home in Stanton, California, after a 3-year battle with cancer. Buffy was a loving wife, friend, cat-herder and someone you were just darned glad that you knew. She is survived by her husband Scott, her stepchildren Brittany, Heather, Buddy, Adam and Samantha, her grandchildren Paige, Alexis, Alyssa, Autumn, Hollyann, Leona, Tristan, Roman, and her fur-children (the cats…too many to list here).
She was born in Massachusetts but moved to Stanton when she was only 2 years old. She started doing artistic roller skating and eventually grew to be a well-known name in the sport, becoming a trainer. She had more than a few award winners in her career. She also worked for Disneyland for 15 years, becoming their core Custodial trainer and even winning the coveted ‘Mousker’ for her success.
Buffy’s huge heart, infectious sense of humor and her love for everyone will be what her loved ones will miss the most. The world will be a little less bright without her here.
Because of the COVID outbreak here and per Buffy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite cancer-fighting charity.
