George Stanley Henderson

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM Pacific Time Saturday, July 6, at Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster, California. The funeral will follow at Noon.

George was born April 20, 1948, in Vincennes Indiana, to Yolanda (Abruzino) and Jack Henderson. He attended La Sierra University and the University of San Diego, and obtained his Law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1977, and practiced law until his death, a 43-year career. A longtime resident of California, attorney Henderson was always passionate about helping clients in his community and home state.

George was proud of the successful law practice that he and his team built: Henderson Work Injury Law Corporation.

George was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years, Cheryl Henderson (Señoron). George and Cheryl had known each other for over 30 years, and were inseparable. George and Cheryl’s proudest moment was the birth of their son Joshua in 1997.

George was a devout Christian, and graduated from the Bible College at Cottonwood church with a Pastor certification. George ministered for many years to the homeless via the Long Beach-based Christian Outreach In Action.

George is survived by his son Joshua, his sister Beverly Kittle (Henderson), his brother Steven Henderson and their families. George will be greatly missed by both the Señoron and Henderson/Abruzino sides of his family.
