I worked with Mr. B at the school district. He was always so wonderful with the students. He was very patient, genuinely interested each student he talked to. He was great at listening to them and making them feel important. He will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathies to the Benninghoff family. Gerald was a favorite cousin and often came to our house for an afternoon of game playing. He would bike from his house in Calumet City to our house in Lansing-quite a distance. He was gentle in nature and always put God and family first. He will be missed.

I spent many a wonderful evening at the Bennington home playing Yahtzee and bantering with Ben. He was very close to my heart and he will be greatly missed.

Anna and family, I was so sorry to hear of Gerald’s passing, but also happy that he is now in heaven with Jesus. May God grant you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Saying good-bye to Tim, Gerald’s younger brother, almost 9 months ago is still very heavy on my heart. Knowing Tim is in heaven with his brothers, sister, and Mom gives me comfort as I mourn. Picturing them in the arms of Jesus helps me get through the most difficult days. I wish I could be there in person to share memories with you, but that is not possible at this time. You are in my prayers each day. God bless.
