I'm Chris Wingard, but my classmates might know me as Chris Slaughter, which was my name at that time. Ms. Jennifer Panzella was my 5th-grade teacher at Sun View Elementary during ~1996. Ms. Panzella, as she was referred to by us kids, she impacted my life greatly. It's just by chance I searched about to see what Ms. Panzella might be doing these days. It breaks my heart to know she's no longer with us. There seem to be a few of my classmates from that 5th-grade year at Sun View who've also mentioned their regard for Ms. Panzella. I'd like to say hello to you all, too.
RIP Ms. Panzella, you've impacted many of us. Thank you for everything you've done for us.

Ms. Panzella,
It has been almost 20 years since I was in 3rd grade at Goldenview ... You were the sweetest and most genuine teacher I ever had. My little sister was so jealous that I had you as my teacher. We wanted our hair to be long and beautiful like yours. You were so patient and kind for having a class full of eight year olds.. My mother and I were reminiscing over my early years and decided to look you up. It broke my heart to see this... Thank you for everything you did. Unfortunately I did not get to spend a whole year with you in 96' but you are missed and loved from the Perry family.

Dear Ms. Panzella,

Words can't describe how awefully I am saddened by the news of you passing. Just the other day I was telling my girlfriend who my favorite teacher was to which I easily said was Ms. Panzella from 5th grade. So today I decided to try to look you up and found out you had passed. It must've been a sign as to I just found out that your birthday was yesterday. Happy birthday. I was a student of yours in 5th grade at Sun View Elementary in 1993-1994. I can't believe its been almost 20 years. I can remember clearly it was your first year teaching and you were only 24 years old having just moved to California from Pennylvania. Thank you for having such a huge impact in my life at such an early age. God must've needed you more than we did. RIP and God bless you and you family. - Tom Luong
