Helen C. Beverley of Huntington Beach, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 18, 2023. She was born Friday, November 27, 1931, in Glasgow, Scotland to Thomas and Mary (Grimes) Larkin.
She is survived in death by her husband of 67 years William (Bill), son, Bryan and daughters Elayne and Alyson, sisters Anne Stewart and Patricia MacDonald, and her much loved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
After finally settling in the states and making Huntington Beach California her home, she became one of the first parishioners at St. Bonaventure, worked for the Ocean View School District where she retired in 1996, supported her children and grandchildren in youth sports and school activities and cherished the time and vacations with her friends and family.
A Church Service for Helen will be held Friday, November 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 16400 Springdale St., Huntington Beach, CA 92649 with a Reception to follow.
