On Saturday, December 26, 2020, Jamie Sianez loving brother and uncle passed away at the age of 62. He was born on November 7, 1958 in Newport Beach, California to George and Trinidad Sianez. He resided in Huntington Beach, California all his life until 16 months ago he became a resident at Manor Care.

When Jamie was born, he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. The doctor told his parents that a Downs child would probably not live past the age of seven years old and he suggested Jamie be placed in an institution. Fortunately, his parents could not understand how a doctor could make that suggestion. All they wanted to do was bring their baby home. With the help of Special Education he graduated high school from the Huntington Beach Guidance Center in 1980. With the love and support of his family Jamie grew to be an amazing man.

Jamie participated in the Special Olympics, loved music, singing, scary movies, drawing pictures and watching the Price is Right game show. He was an avid sports fan of the Angels, Lakers and the Chargers. He also loved all Disney characters especially Mickey Mouse. His favorite thing to do was dance and he would let everyone know it. But, no one enjoyed his or her birthday or Christmas more than he did! Jamie loved everyone unconditionally and most importantly he was loved, and has left a special place in everyone’s heart.

His parents George & Trinidad Sianez preceded Jamie in death. His sisters & brothers Peggy & Diego Segura, Lydia & Bob Ayres, Roy & Ginny Sianez, Victor & Rosie Sianez plus all of his nieces and nephews survive him.

A visitation will be held for Jaime on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel with a graveside service to follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Huntington Beach, California. Arrangements under the direction of Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA 92683.

I am deeply sadden of Jamie's passing. He will be dearly missed by all. I will always remember how much he loved to dance, if you needed a dance partner, Jamie was your guy! I also remember how he loved to have his picture taken and his favorite food, hamburgers. Jamie was always so happy and showed love to everyone. May our Lord bless and comfort the Sianez family during this time of grief. Rest in peace Jamie.
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

I am deeply saddened by Jamie's passing. He will always hold a special place in my heart. From my teen years to now an older adult, I will never forget his cheerful welcome with that big smile every time I would see him. I feel honored to have shared and witnessed all the love and joy that Jamie would not only give, but received by everyone, especially his family.
RIP Jamie and thank you for all the wonderful memories.🙏🏽❤️

When I first met Jaime, I noticed his huge smile. He loved to talk, laugh, and dance! He was an excellent dancer! Yes, he had disabilities, but he lived a very happy long life, thanks to his family members. Now he is with his parents, talking, laughing and dancing.

I always remember when I first met Jamie he had his Angel shirt on and I said to him: you like the Angels he said yes and I said I do too and he gave a big smile, then I went to sit down in the living room he kept smiling at me from the kitchen. I will never forget his smile. Riparadise Jaime!
