Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Jerry lived a life defined by love, kindness, laughter, and an unmistakable sense of joy. He was a doting husband, a loving father, a treasured brother and uncle, a loyal friend, and, perhaps most joyfully, a beloved grandfather known simply as "Papa".
Jerry had a gift for working with his hands and seemed capable of building just about anything. But the greatest thing he built was the life that surrounded him -- a family who loved him deeply and a lifetime of memories that will continue long after his passing.
His sunny disposition was contagious. Jerry carried a warmth with him that made people feel welcome, and his laughter, wisdom, patience, honesty, and compassion left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He reminded those around him that there was always something to smile about and someone worth showing kindness to.
Losing someone we love is never easy, and words often fall short of describing the space they leave behind. Yet even in our sadness, we are profoundly grateful for the years, laughter, lessons, and beautiful moments we were blessed to share with him.
Jerry's life will continue to be honored in the stories we tell, the things he taught us, the love he gave so freely, and the joy we carry forward because of him.
Rest peacefully, Papa. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and deeply missed.
Family and friends will come together to celebrate Jerry's life at a later date. Details will be shared when arrangements are finalized.
