John Paul Garrison

John lived life exactly the way he wanted — fully, fearlessly, and always with a story worth telling. A talented race car engine builder by trade and passion, he spent much of his life around the roar of engines, the camaraderie of racing teams, and the excitement of traveling from track to track. Those who knew him best could sit for hours listening to his incredible stories from the road and the unforgettable people he met along the way.

John had a deep love for race cars and whippets, two things that brought him endless joy throughout his life. He was known for being exceptionally smart, fiercely loyal, stubborn in all the memorable ways, and deeply caring to the people fortunate enough to know him.

Though he had no children of his own, John leaves behind many lifelong friends, racing companions, and loved ones who became family through shared experiences, laughter, and loyalty. He lived his best life, always, and inspired others to do the same.

John will be remembered for his sharp mind, his adventurous spirit, his unmatched stories, and the unmistakable sound of a life lived wide open. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
