

Joseph attended Trường Nguyễn Bá Tòng, where he received his education before dedicating himself to serving his country. He proudly served in the Vietnamese Army. During this time, he met the love of his life, Teresa Kim Phạm, who served as an Army nurse. Their love began in Sài Gòn, Việt Nam, and blossomed into a lifelong marriage built on faith, devotion, and unwavering commitment.
Together, Joseph and Teresa were blessed with one daughter, Maria Thanh Phạm, who brought immeasurable joy and pride to their lives. Joseph treasured every moment spent with his family and especially cherished his role as a grandfather.
Outside of his devotion to his family, Joseph enjoyed playing tennis and valued the friendships and fellowship the sport brought into his life. He will always be remembered as a kind, handsome, loving, and helpful man whose gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Joseph was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vincent L. Phạm and Madelyn T. Phạm.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Teresa Kim Phạm; his cherished daughter, Maria Thanh Phạm; his beloved grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
Joseph will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. His legacy of love, kindness, and selfless service will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Joseph's life at a visitation on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Main Chapel at Westminster Memorial Park. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.,at Brothers of St. Patrick Novitiate at 7820 Bolsa Ave., Midway City, CA 92655, followed by a graveside service in the Resurrected Savior Garden at Westminster Memorial Park.
