Was thinking about Kameron today. In 8th grade we had a project together, and it was the silliest project ever, but Kameron took it so serious because it was songwriting and creativity, his passion. I still have that recording of us, singing and smiling and laughing and being prepubescent kids. "Jamming" by Bob Marley will always be your song now, but we called it "Jackson", for Andrew Jackson. I hear your voice every time it comes on. I talk to the sky and pray you are listening. I wish we were still kids. I hope you hear how loved you were, even in brief moments. Wish you were here.

Kameron was one of the most electric souls I have ever met in my life. We immediately had an understanding of one another when we first met and it was a friendship that steadily went in and out of my life. I drive past a spot that reminds me of him everyday, and sometimes “Piano Man” comes on the radio when I do. I can’t help but believe that in some way, it’s him saying hello. 
He had a way of making you feel like everything you said was important, yet he challenged you to think outside your realm of thought. I think about him often, and I’m happy to smile at the memories. 

Hey Kam! I was thinking about you and was missing you. I caught myself before yelling out to Sierra yesterday and saying "Hey, where's Kam been Sierra?....tell him his mom misses him and to come home."  Still unimaginable.. Love and miss you!!!

My heart is shattered, my world left in pieces. I dont think words can ever explain how much you are missed. I cry alot still..Not a minute goes by that I dont hear your voice in my head "hey mom". I made your favorite for your bday as we always did every year (homemade tacos). I ate mine with ketchup (even though I hate it lol) because thats how you liked them... SO MANY MEMORIES. My favorite was on our way to the bank. You were 5. I always taught you manners and one was to open the door for women and allow them to go first. You fought me on that rule for years. "Why can't men go first? Why women? "Its not fair sometimes I want to go first mom". My response as always "because I said so bub". You were holding the heavy door open for me (it was so heavy but you always liked holding it open for mama) a woman came in behind me and signaled for you to go in first. You both went back and forth on signals to go ahead when finally you became angered and in your little boy angry voice screamed "look lady my mom says ladies go first and even though I don't like it you girls always go first (eyeroll) so if you can just go first because this door is super heavy I would be happy so my mom doesn't get disappointed in me" 🤣🤣🤣 I tried so hard not to laugh while I told you how proud I am. The lady patted your head and said you were a sweet boy. You used to give me directions on the highway at the age of 7 because I'd always forget. Remember when I taught you how to garden and plant vegetable seeds? You loved to climb trees (even as a young adult). You bought me 5 bouquets of flowers for mothers day and filled the kitchen. Hated if I helped you on school art projects (kids made fun of my drawings ) Music... ugh I can still hear you playing piano at the house and singing. You were an amazing son and brother. Life was hard for us when you were young, but we never let that stop our laughter. I love you son. I hate life without you. Its hard to get out of bed. 😔

I met Kameroni online playing Rainbow six Siege years ago in a random lobby and his name was "Kam with a K" so i asked if his name started with a "C" and before i knew it i was talkin to the dude every night , the guy always had such a positive energy and sense of humor it was so hard to not get along with him, the boys and i would always roll random words matching with the nickname we gave him :( i really wish i could have known the man in real life, we had plans to meet up eventually but things never worked out.. The Boyos love ya Kameroni alamony jabroni tony balogna macaroni homie <3 

Kameron and I met at Junior Guards and were rivals😂. We always argued over who was better at dodgeball. We then continued to be friends in middle school and I talked him into doing show choir. He was always so funny. We lost connection after he dropped out of APA but I would talk to him every once in a while. He will be very missed

I met Kam in line for the Tower of Terror in Disneyland the summer between 8th grade and freshman year.  After about an hour in line he whipped around saying "We are gonna be here for a while, so might as well be friends! Hi, Im Kameron. Kameron with a K" with that beaming crooked of his. From that day on we never lost contact. He became one of my best friends and even though he lived 6 hours away, but that didn't stop us from planning our futures together. Kam would stay up all night with me on skype just playing uke or guitar serenading me with made up tunes of how he was the prince and I was the rapunzel . God he had so much raw talent. He could play any instrument that you put in front of him. His voice felt like browned butter that just rocked you to sleep. 
We never ran out of things to talk about and he always knew the right thing to say. That is just the kind of person he was. No matter what time of the day or the mood, Kam brough light and the bounce to his voice just made me feel like everything would be okay. 

We planned a secret trip where he would come to San Francisco to stay with me for the 2019 New Year. To this day I still cannot believe we pulled that off. I got to play tour guide for a few days while he happily sat passenger in my car and  talked my ear off about how John Mayer is a god and Chet Baker's music saved him. 

There are so many more things I wanted to say to you. We were supposed to be in each other lives until we grew grey and tell our kids the story of how we met in the line for a ride that doesn't even exist anymore. It was supposed to be fate that we met and would be friends forever. I love you so much Kameron. I wish I told you more.

A few weeks ago, late in the evening, Kameron perked up off the couch and said to me, "Let's go play pool." We went out to the garage and before that boy even picked up a pool cue, he was turning on the stereo to play music. That night we played 5 games of pool... all of which he won... while we sang and danced to Joji playing in the background.  Kameron was just destroying me at pool, until game 5. He still had multiple balls on the table but I was surprisingly ahead. I called my pocket on the 8 ball and then I scratched into the wrong pocket. Kameron laughed and laughed while I fumed.  I said to him, "I don't care about the rules, I still won." But he wouldn't let me have it. He insisted that I had lost and he had won, but this time by default.  Kam picked on me for days over how angry I had gotten about losing. That was Kameron and I. He was always joking and teasing me. That night, while we were dancing around in the garage, he leaned over to make a shot, and then suddenly looked up with wild eyes and said, "I know I'm sexy but you don't have to stare at my butt." That was Kam. He was always the life of the party. He could always make me smile. He was always cracking a joke, laughing, smiling, and making life more fun. I miss his positivity and his passion for life. I miss his spontaneity and charisma. I miss his crooked smile and goofy laugh.  Kameron is genuinely the best person I have ever known and the best friend I've ever had. He was so kind, loving, and caring. It was an honor to have him in my life. I am reminded of him every day in the simplest things like a good song, the smell of fire, cool wind, laughter, driving with the windows down, late night tv, hamburgers, composition books, big trees, running water, the feeling of guitar strings, flat brimmed hats, and the color purple.  Kameron loved life, and I hope someday I will see the world like he did, a world full of color and endless possibilities. I will miss you, Kameron, every day. I love you.

Many years ago, an eager young boy came home with my daughter after school. He was intelligent, sweet and very polite. He seemed different from the other boys, and I noticed his cool clothes and clean cut look. He ended up  staying  for dinner and to my surprise he shared that he doesn’t eat anything green. (Who doesn’t eat anything green? Right!) Well, that was a problem... since we were having chicken salad for dinner. After a few minutes of trying to figure out what I could make for Kameron, he persuaded us to get hamburgers for dinner instead. That boy loved hamburgers... especially with ketchup. 

I didn’t know then that Kameron was going to make such a huge impact on my life.  I felt a special connection to him and thought of him as one of my own. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do for him, and he knew it.  I enjoyed him and Sierra getting into disagreements about silly things just to argue about them and then laugh about it later.   I loved hearing Sierra and Kameron singing together from the day they met until just a few weeks before he left us. There’s so much to say about this amazing person, but my heart is still broken and sad. I will miss my King Kam everyday. My heart goes out to his family for their loss. There are no words that can ease the pain of this unimaginable loss. I love you, Kameron so much. Rest In Peace my son.  Forever in my heart, your 2nd Mom.. 💔🙏

i was 11 when i met kameron in 2013. he was the sweetest boy i’ve ever met, i was sitting alone in art class at sowers, and he went up to me and introduced himself. we sat together most days of that class, had great, long conversations during the whole period. i never admitted it to any of my friends at the time, but i look back and kameron was my first actual crush, he left a great impact on me, and how i viewed most guys since then, even when we drifted away, and didn’t talk or hangout anymore, he’d still always say hello to me whenever we walked past each other at edison. i never looked at him differently, he remained the same sweet, funny, charismatic guy i met in 7th grade art class. i’ll never forget “kameron with a k” truly one of the kindest people i’ve ever had the pleasure of befriending. thank you kameron, for being a great friend, and for being  someone i always felt comfortable to talk to, when i had no one else at the time. i miss you, i’ll never forget you. my condolences to kamerons family, i’m truly sure he’ll be by your sides until the end of time, because even in the afterlife, that’s the type of person he is. such a beautiful soul. 

Kameron’s kind character was epitomised by the friendship we shared. The idyllic attitude he spread into a room stuck with me when I met him in Mammoth 6 years ago. 
Since then, travelling over from England twice more to see him, I’m so glad I got the chance to be introduced to his friends. His impact on them is clear and he was a much loved member of several different circles.
He was always laughing and asking me questions about how my life differed to his. The interest he showed in others was one of his many amazing traits.
We could go weeks, sometimes months, without talking, but we never grew apart. Every time we spoke it was like we’d been friends for life.
I’m going to miss you Kam. Rest in peace mate x


Being one of my closest friends I have endless memories with Kam that I wish I could share most notably would be his catch phrase whenever he screwed up or did something Amazing his reasoning was “I’m Kam” and once he said that he’d continue with the thing he was doing like that answered everything and eventually it did all we needed was a “I’m Kam” and we believed in whatever he was doing. Kam was easily one of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting it really seemed like there was nothing that he couldn’t do. I will always remember beating that electric rat  in smash only to have him sit up and play the best game ever but fall off 3 times and lose. You’ve always been such an amazing friend from start to finish adjusting into a new world without you is probably the hardest thing I’ve done in my life but I’ll keep my head up high like I know you’d tell me too I love you Kam Rest In Peace brother. 

Kameron you were one of a kind. You were filled with excitement, love, and passion for those around you. You were such a hype beast for me whenever I did magic and it helped boost my confidence when I was first performing. 
Kameron you were an inspiration for me when it came to the outdoors. You were always hiking and exploring and I thought it was the coolest thing. I wish I could’ve gone on more hikes with you. When you were out in Humboldt County, I was so jealous because you were living out my dream. I wanted to be able to live the mountains in a cabin and get horse like you. I wish I visited you while you were out there.

Kameron was my first crush. I had elementary school with him and I thought he was the coolest kid ever! Everybody wanted to be around him, he was so full of light and soul. On bad days, he would effortlessly  cheer those up around him. My heart hurts for those close to him and those who will carry memories with him. Though I can’t recall a personal one with him, my heart hurts and wishes I could have kept in contact. 

Kameron, your singing shines throughout your soul, your legacy. The world did not deserve your kindness and courage. Please sing as loud as you can with the angels. 

We were waiting in line at the movies for popcorn. You and your papa had a pretty heated conversation on the way over. You had lost your phone, yet again. And he was just trying to talk to you about responsibility. You were only about 13-14 years old, still learning. Quietly, you asked me, “Was I wrong?” That was the moment I knew our relationship was going to be so much more than I was ever expecting. It hit me that I was going to be a person that you started coming to for advice. I knew I had to tread carefully. I didn’t want to mess it up. I realized in that same moment, that I really wanted to be that person for you. We were never that close, but here you were, asking me for that type of relationship. I’m so glad I got it right. Because you never stopped asking.

I didn’t know how much I’d be gaining when I originally moved out here. You became the little brother I never had. You got on my nerves just as much as I got on yours I’m sure. I picked you up or drove you wherever you needed to go. You would ask me anything from your outfit choice to relationship advice. And I always felt honored. I’m so thankful that we were able to have such honest and personal conversations. 

I hope when the time comes for me, it’s just like the day you helped pick me up this day at the airport. There’s a long stretch of white hallway. I’ll keep walking long enough to where I can see you, standing as close as you possibly can be, waiting for me. (Even though you and I both know it’s only because you can’t see very far without your glasses on.) But you’ll hug me as tight as possible and say, “I really missed you”. 

Kameron, you were so loved. You still are. I wish every day that things could’ve been different. But I’m glad you’re not in pain anymore. I know I’ll see you again someday. Until then, you’ll live forever in my heart. Rest easy.

Kameron went to my school since 6th grade, andI have to say he really was the life of the class! My first memory of him was seeing him in 6th grade chasing after this girl he had a crush on and slipping and falling only to get right back up and follow her. So cute. He was so funny and sweet. He was in my class senior year and I always talked to him because he made me laugh. May he rest in peace.

After knowing Kameron for 9 years it is so hard to think of just one favorite memory. I met Kameron in 5th grade, we had a kite project. Kameron stuck his kite on his head and kept saying " I'm kite man"! I thought he was so funny, we've been friends ever since. We shared so many laughs, jokes, and nicknames. Sometimes we went a while without talking because life would get crazy. Whenever we talked again it was like nothing ever changed. Throughout the years Kam would call me in the middle of the night to catch up and I think he thought it was funny to spam my phone until I woke up. To which I really did think it was funny. I'll miss his late night advice and support he had for me. One of my favorite memories was when we were in grade 10 and him along with a few friends came over to watch the movie Hush. This was a thriller movie, in which Kam took this as the perfect opportunity to scare his friends. He stood outside to be scary, he hid, and he chased us around the house. We could not stop laughing. Everyone always wanted to know when was the next time Kameron could hang out. His energy made everyone want to be around him. I know he made an impact on many people and touched their hearts. He has such a beautiful soul and I will always cherish his memory. Rest in Peace Kam, Aloha' Oe- until we meet again.
