

Pascal Reid (58) born in France on May 6, 1966 and his beloved daughter Kelly (16) born in Huntington Beach on May 5, 2008, passed into heaven on January 2, 2025 following a tragic plane accident. They are deeply missed by Pascal’s wife Tara, daughter Rebekah, Pascal’s mother Riet Reid of New York, brother and sister-in-law James and Ishel Reid of North Carolina, nephews Isaiah and Nicolas Reid, mother-in-law Carolann McDevitt and sister-in-law and husband Claire and Tim Ciencin of New Jersey, as well as countless other friends and family who were blessed by their presence in their lives.
Pascal grew up in France and South America attending the Anglo Cooperative School of Lincoln in Bolivia and subsequently graduating from Manhattan College in New York. He served his country as an Army helicopter pilot for eight years. He met Tara in 1986. They married in 1994 and have enjoyed over 30 years of marriage. Pascal had an affinity with technology and honed his skills in the high tech field, ultimately working for AT&T and IBM. He also loved adventure, whether on his motorcycle or flying his plane.
Kelly was born in Fountain Valley and raised in Huntington Beach. She was a beautiful and talented young lady adored by all. Kelly was gifted not only in the arts and in athletics, but also academically. Her infectious smile and cheerful disposition earned her the love and loyalty of dear friends. Kelly was a loving daughter and sister. Above all, Kelly loved and sought God with all her heart.
Pascal and Kelly both loved the Lord and believe in the life ever after with Jesus in heaven. Kelly was active in her church. She was involved in her youth groups and sports. They also loved each other so much, their passing together ensuring that they remain inseparable even as they dwell in heaven.
