Leonor Barraza Lopez, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Round Rock, TX. Leonor was born on April 2, 1931, in El Paso, TX to Leonor and Gregorio Lopez. She was a loving mother of four, Karen, Eric, George (deceased), and Mannie. Grandchildren; Maunee, Jim Austin, Ethan, and Lauren. Great-grandchildren; Dexter and Eleanor.
She will always be remembered for her kindness and compassion towards everyone she met, she was selfless and generous to a fault. We will miss her beautiful smile, her joyous laughter, early morning phone calls, showering us with praise and compliments. Showering us with gifts she found at garage sales, and discount stores, her terrible cooking, embarrassing stories in mixed company, but most of all loving us unconditionally. There was nothing more beautiful, stronger, or more fierce than the love she had for her children. Being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was her greatest achievement. What mattered most to her was the health and happiness of her children.
Our mother is now in the arms of our Lord and Savior where there is no pain, sorrow, or fear. A big piece of our hearts now live in heaven.
Leonor will be laid to rest in Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, California. 714-893-2421
