Lorraine C. Meunier

Lorraine Cecile Meunier was born October 22, 1929 in Burlington, Vermont and passed away of natural causes on December 11, 2010 in Long Beach, California. Lorraine was a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Long Beach for 25 years. During her time at St. Mary's she was guided by her strong Catholic faith in taking care of those in need, especially children. Lorraine's family, friends and faith were her greatest joys in life. She leaves behind her seven children, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Her love of all of them was constant and will always be remembered. Losing her husband and childhood sweetheart Richard twelve years ago, it was a great comfort to her to know that she would at last be reunited with him in heaven for all eternity. Her last moments were peaceful and in the company of family. A mass will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Westminster. A shelter service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, California 92518 on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 9:30 am.
