Patrick Landon Crane

Patrick attended Ocean View High School and later Pasadena City College. A lifelong lover of music, he worked for Tower Records and spent much of his life immersed in the world of music and writing. As an independent writer, he shared his passion for music and culture through his work and personal pursuits.

Those who knew Patrick remember him as someone whose life was deeply shaped by music. Whether discovering new artists, discussing favorite records, or writing about the sounds that moved him, music was always at the center of his interests and brought him great joy.

Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Linday and Ruth Crane, and Marion and Irene Jernigan.

He is survived by his father, James Crane; his mother, Georgia Elizabeth Crane; his sister, Dana Stovall; and his nieces and nephew, Ashleigh Hampton, Lindsay Moreno, and Christopher Stovall. He will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him.

Patrick’s memory will live on through the music he loved and the many moments shared with those closest to him.
