Paul was the kindest person with the biggest heart we ever met. He would do anything to help a friend. I know this because of the countless times he helped us. Judy and I lost someone we were so proud to call a friend. Heavens gain was our loss. We will see you there Pablo.

We both miss Paul so much! He was Jim’s first friend here at LW and meant so much to both of us. Paul use to come by and ask if Jim can come out and play, always made me laugh. Paul and Kris brought all the neighbors together for barbecues and it was always a great time. I’m sure your fishing in heaven now, and making everyone laugh again. See you again our friend.
Lots of Love!!! Jim and Suzie

I met Kris and Paul when I moved to Leisure World about one and a half years ago. I was very impressed with his pineapple plants, however when I got to know Paul I was even more impressed with how wonderful a person and what a good friend he was.
Paul was Mr Mutual 3. He solved problems and gave excellent advice to any of his friends and neighbors. All of my problems about the workings and management of Leisure World were solved or answered by Paul. He was my best friend and neighbor at this place.
God bless Paul, I miss him very much.

My family first met Paul probably over 30 something years ago. Paul was my dad's boss at the time. Him and my father became great friends over the years. As a result our families grew up along side of each other and celebrated many birthdays and family occasions with Paul and his family. Paul was a wonderful man, husband to Kris, father to his children, and life long friend to our family. I know I speak for my entire family that he will be sorely missed. We all loved Paul and are very sad and heartbroken over his passing. I know he is with God now. Paul we love you and will never forget you! To all the Tolen family we love you too! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find comfort and strength in this time of sadness and loss. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

I can’t even find the words to explain how I feel... I loved Paul and I still do. I know he’s with our Lord and happy, free from any pain. I’m posting a photo of my pineapple plants he taught me how to grow, I think of him every time I see them. I look forward to being able to spend time joking around with him again in Heaven.

Dear Krissy, We are so so sorry to lose our dear friend Paul, your loving husband and best friend, and the Lord’s child. Paul was all that and more, a loving father and papa, kind, generous, compassionate, quirky and humorous come to mind. I love that Paul could find humor in everything. Being life long friends, Steve and I will always cherish our times together as family. Paul will live in our hearts always and will be sorely missed. May the Lord wrap you and the entire family in His comfort and peace. In all our love and sympathy Janet, Steve and family. P.S. Steve says..... “ May Paul be catching the biggest tuna in Heaven!”

The Michel Family is so sorry for your loss.
We will miss Paul and the times we went fishing with him and his many funny stories. Not to mention just being neighbors for so many years of looking out for each other.
