I work for Rob  at  Adair office furniture  .. Rob change my life ..he care about his employees and was very fair to all   .. I have so many wonderful memories working. For him ...he believe in me  .   its hard to hear of his passing.    .. I will never forget his kindness and leadership will.miss him ..

Rob was the love of my life.  We met in 2007 and fell in love and shared so many beautiful years.  We shared a home together for 12 years.  Rob was kind and generous  and always found humor in life.  He was smart and had an amazing natural ability to navigate whether it be a biat or a plane.  He had many stories to tell from his flying days. Rob proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam Like many Veterans , he not get the warm reception he deserved when returning from service, but never complained. Rob had a great engineering mind and would have made a great inventor.  He always had projects and designed many things around our home. He loved his family and friends and was especially proud of his children and grand kids.   He was a great cook and enjoyed hosting for the boat parade. We enjoyed having our friends and family for Thanksgiving .  We enjoyed sharing our love for Hockey and the Ducks. One of our favorite times was going to the LA County Fair. One year we attended LA, San Diego and OC Fair.  Some of our most tranquil and adventurous times were out on the  ocean together.  We both shared the love of being out on the water.  He lovingly called me his first mate and Rob will forever be my captain.   Rob and I became parents to our Golden Retriever Molly.  Loving you with all my 💗 forever

So sorry to hear about Rob's passing 1 1/2 years ago.  My son told me yesterday. We had some great times together during the late 70's and throughout the 80's.  We were always cracking up about something.  I'm sure Gayle remembers when i rented a wheelchair
at Disneyland and fell out of it - backwards  - trying to keep up with him!!  Or the ice cream episode on the cruise ship?  Many, many memories of both our families!!  May he rest in peace.  Love you all.

I loved Grandpa Rob, he was always the best. My favorite memory of me and him was when we were in his small boat and he let me steer (this  was when I was about 10). Me and Grandpa Rob would always play online chess together and we always enjoyed each other’s company. Love you gramps  -Jason Adair


I miss my grandpa so so much, there was no one truly like him. He was a great mentor and shoulder to lean on always. I will never forget all the special things I got to experience with my grandpa, he was my biggest inspiration. We got a lot closer as I got older, I would talk to him about almost everything…there’s never a day I don’t think about him. He was kind, gentle, and most of all goofy. My special grandpa-granddaughter bond I had with him was my favorite thing ever, I would talk about him all the time…he was just so cool and I was so proud I was his granddaughter! I was the one who made him a papa, and although I was only 21 years of his long life, he was my whole life. A piece of me will always feel broken and It breaks my heart he’s no longer here. I wish I could say so much to him and I wish I had more than anything to just have 5 more minutes with him, but I know he has the most special place in heaven and is watching over and guiding all of us. As he always said to me “I love you with all my heart” grandpa, you will NEVER be forgotten. I just love you so much. 

Rob was a great friend and I shall miss his humor and smile. We and the boys hung out a lot when we were single and took several cruises together. So many fond memories of a great friend. He will be missed , but the memories will be with me forever. 

A sudden and hearbreaking loss.  I met my cousin only a couple of times and at a family reunion, but he was very kind and easy to talk with.  Heartfelt condolences to the family. Truly, your loss is in my thoughts.  Carole Ann Adair Murphy and Family,  Spokane, WA.

Rob was my husband for 21 years. We were blessed with two beautiful children and four wonderful grandchildren.  
 Rob was the families ROCK at times, strong, caring and loving.
Rob was friends with my husband Tony.

Daddy..Thank you for always being there for my children and I. You were a great father & grandpa and a wonderful all around person..you were so kind hearted and  could always make everyone laugh.  you will never be forgotten.....and you will be forever missed.  I love you more then words could ever explain...Rest now daddy...and prepaid the way for the rest of us on the other side. I love you so much .god bless you always.
