

Rodger Dale Little Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 19, 2026, in Orange, California, at the age of 82. He was born on January 24, 1944, in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
For 58 years, Rodger shared a loving marriage with his wife, Rosemarie Little. Together, they built a life centered around family, laughter, and making memories. Rodger was, above all else, a family man. He always made sure his family was taken care of and had everything they needed, while also making sure there was plenty of fun and laughter along the way.
Rodger began his career as a carpenter, a trade that suited his ability to build, fix, and create. He later became a building inspector and proudly served in that profession for 34 years before retiring. His hardworking nature and dedication to his family were evident in everything he did.
Rodger loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and boating. He also loved playing games, spending time with Rosemarie, and simply being together with the people he loved. He was known for his fun-loving personality and his ability to make those around him smile. He was a loving husband and devoted father whose greatest joy was his family.
Rodger is survived by his son, Rodger Little, Jr.; daughter, Theresa Case; daughter-in-law, Vicki Little; son-in-law, Kevin Case; grandchildren, Steven Little, Jeff Little, Karlee Little, Ashley Case, and Amanda Case.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemarie Little; his mother, Rosie Baskins; and his stepfather, Henry Baskins and his beloved beagles, Sparky, Lucky, and Louie.
Rodger leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, hard work, and cherished memories. His family will forever remember him as a man who loved deeply, worked hard, made sure everyone was cared for, and always knew how to have a good time. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel, with a graveside service to follow in the Garden of Angels.
