Roman had a genuine enthusiasm for life. He was as kind-hearted and unselfish as one could be. Roman cherished his family, Daisy, and friends. He truly enjoyed celebrating everyone's accomplishments. He was always open to new experiences. As a young man, he tried his hand at many activities such as the swim team, lacrosse, cub scouts, chess, and chorus. He then discovered his true passion, the saxophone. Roman wrote music and played many different genres. He adored playing in the band at Marina high school and later at Fullerton College. He also played with numerous groups and bands over the years. Roman loved outer space. He was an avid learner of many different subjects. He won awards for writing. Roman was a beautiful soul. A true bright star has been extinguished. It is with great sorrow and disbelief that we announce the passing of Roman James Brambila.
