 Navy buddies Ron Childers, Larry Wilkinson, and Tom Ritzdorf stayed in touch, by phone, since "graduation" in late 1968.  All three of us talked, all these years, about getting together, "someday."  
   Sadly, that opportunity was missed, and Larry and I regret it, very much.
   The good coming from Ron's sad departure is that Larry and I vowed, many months ago, to get together in celebration of the three of us having known each other, all these years, and for serving together;
   AND IN CELEBRATION OF RON'S LIFE.
   The weekend of June 7, 2013, Larry and Tom will get together, and we will raise a toast, when we meet in Tulsa, OK,  to our very good friend, Ron Childers.

What a friend for 45 years. Though separated by miles always a close friend that will be deeply missed. Thank you God for a friend like "Chili"!
