Russell Lewis, a proud veteran of the 5th Cavalry, passed away on November 21, 2014, after a fruitful 85 years. Russ was a soft-spoken, loving husband, father, brother, grand-father, great-grandfather and friend. He will be remembered for his humor, dance moves and love for sharing stories over 7&7s with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Jackie, son Floyd (wife Lisa), daughters Kathy (husband John) and Jamie (husband Steve), brother Floyd (wife Nancy), sister Roberta, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and his dog Foxy.
There will be a celebration of Russell's life held on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Westminster Memorial Park at 14801 Beach Blvd.
A viewing will take place at 1:30pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations or gifts, the family asks that you buy a flower and give it to your favorite veteran. Russell is gone but will never be forgotten.
