

Sally Jane Rangel, beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 9, 2024, in Orange, California, at the age of 80. She was born on September 24, 1943, in Santa Ana, California, to Sally Saenz and Jesus Orzoñio.
Sally's educational journey began at Newhope Elementary School in Santa Ana and continued at 17th Street Elementary in Westminster, followed by Los Alamitos Junior High and Huntington Beach High School. She proudly graduated from Westminster High School as a member of its inaugural graduating class.
Sally married Antonio Rangel, her loving husband of 61 years, whom she first met during their school years and later reunited working in a factory in Westminster, California. Sally dedicated herself to her family, serving as a seamstress and devoted housewife, nurturing and caring for her seven children, four daughters, and three sons. She was adored as "Nana" by her twelve grandchildren and "G.G." by her thirteen great-grandchildren.
Sally's life revolved around her family whom she loved unconditionally and supported wholeheartedly. Her warm and welcoming nature touched everyone she met, extending beyond her immediate family to include her children's friends who adopted her as their second mother and her grandchildren's friends who regarded her as their "Nana."
In her leisure time, Sally found joy in quilting, baking, and dancing, always cherishing moments spent with her loved ones. She also had a playful side, enjoying her occasional tequila shots with friends and family.
Sally will be remembered for her loving spirit, beauty, loyalty, and humbleness. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally Saenz, father, Jesus Orzoñio, her son, Tony Rangel, and her brothers, James Rivera and Timothy Michael Rivera.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Antonio Rangel, her daughters Irene Bridak, Gloria Martinez, Rosemary Rangel, Genevieve Rangel, her sons Paul Rangel and Nick Rangel, her daughter-in-law Renee Rangel, and her sisters Patricia Rivera, Anita Kramer, and Silvia Atwood.
Sally Jane Rangel's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
A visitation for Sally will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 9:30 am in the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel.
Forever in our hearts, Sally's memory will be cherished and her love remembered by all whose lives she touched.
