Adam, your often on our minds. You're missed so much. Melissa is thriving and you would be so proud of her. We love you.

One of best memories is Adam working on replacing our porch he said this is your Christmas present for a while we loved that he got brothers together to replace it.

Yesterday we remember Adam and all the love and support he showed us, he is truly missed in our family. 

Hi dad I miss you everyday I can't believe it's been 2 years already. I'm doing busy like always I got 3 cows. I miss your talks and hugs I miss are phone conversations. I love you daddy ❤️ ♥️ 💕 ❤️ ♥️ 

My sweet loving cousin I really miss you. You were so funny and fun to be around and so thoughtful.

I am grateful to be apart of this family. Adam was a great man and definitely taken way too soon. Not only did he always have a huge smile on his face but he was great with his nephews (our boys) and always made sure to put his mother first. My husband loves his older brother so much and this was a blow that took another piece of his heart. Along with his father who passed just a few weeks earlier. I have so many memories that Johnny and I have had with him and they were all a great time. We have the most recent, which is the last time that his brother, our boys and I seen him. It was mother's day this year. We met up with him at their mother Nancy's house and Ja'c joined us. It was during the COVID-19 pandemic so we were all under quarantine. We couldn't go out to eat but Adam wanted to treat us mom's and his brother to lunch. He ordered Red Lobster. It was delish! And then he gave Ja'c and I and single rose with a teddy bear. A very respectful and sweet gentleman who happens to be my brother-in-law. But now to the most meaningful memory (all have meaning and are special) Johnny and I had one hell of a beginning of our relationship (all positive for us of course) but it was fast, Johnny was just getting out of his previous marriage so I guess you can say we didn't have much support on either sides of our family at that time (times have changed for the better). Then I found out I was pregnant with our first born Dash. My mother planned my baby shower and I, of course, wanted to invite all of his family. Not expecting anyone to show up honestly. Adam was the only family of Johnny's that showed up. Of course my family was their but to have any one of Johnny's family there meant the world to me since it is a new family member of theirs. And Adam showing up showed his support for his brother his love and his loyalty. It showed that family is first to him. And family is everything. I'll never forget that. Ever. We love you Adam! 

I remember our ride up the 405 to the 101 over to Kanan Rd heading down Malholond Prkwy.  To the Rock store we laughed took pictures this was one of the first places that Jim and I went when we met in 1989. It was a wonderful ride with Adam Hughlett and Anna Allen-Hughlett his lighter broke on his bike so we rigged it up so it wouldn’t get stuck in his wheel. He always had that great big smile while riding with us I will miss riding with Adam and getting the wind in our faces. We loved Adam totally, he is family.  Birthdays were always special with Adam too we celebrated at the Rusty Pelican in this photo. 

I REMEMBER ADAM WAS ALWAYS SMILING, ALWAYS LOOKING FOR WAYS TO MAKE THINGS SPECIAL FOR MY SISTER ANNA ALLEN-HUGHLETT, I'M GOING TO MISS THOSE CALLS AROUND JUNE 19TH NEVER THE DAY OF ALWAYS RIGHT BEFORE BECAUSE HE WANTED TO DO SOMETHING TO MAKE HER DAY AS SPECIAL AS POSSIBLE... I WILL MISS THOSE TIME WE WOULD SEE EACH OTHER AND IF HE NOTICED MY HEART BROKE JUST SHARED WORDS OF WISDOM..... HE DID REMIND ME NO ONE IS PERFECT BUT LOVE CAN MAKE IT THROUGH ANYTHING AND AS LONG AS MY LOVE & MYSELF LOVE EACH OTHER THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS, I NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME SO SUDDENLY AND I KNOW YOU HAVE TOUCHED SO MANY LIVES, SO MANY MORE THEN MOST EVER KNEW

I met Adam and his best friend Kraig in 1989.  Me and Adam lived and worked in the same place.  He was my first friend in Orange County.  We argued like siblings the whole time at Little Caesar’s and I even set him up with my crazy best friend (he always liked blondes) which was a disaster and he never let me live that one down for playing Satan’s matchmaker.  I would torture him later with Algebra tutoring before Izzy was born.  We drifted apart after Kraig died but sad we never had that combined family day.  I chose this picture because you were teasing me right before the picture was taken. You’ll be missed my brother from another mother; be good until we all find you on the other side. 

The memories, thoughts of Adam. He is always well spoken thoughtful the first time I meet Adam was when cindy and I stopped for the night in westminister cindy invited adam to come have dinner with us. 2011 is when I meet adam from that day forward we always seemed to get along very well. Adam is a great big hearted and thoughtful man adam always made sure his kids were taken care of. Adam would always give advice to cindy and malissa weather it was needed of not. Adam and I always got along  no matter what the cituatons was. Adam always thought about he was saying before he said it always tryed to stay cool and calm. Adam is and always be a great friend and father to his friends and kids. Adam will always be there spiritually for his family and friends. So in god we trust may Adam soul rest in peace.

DAD I'm so grateful to have you for a dad I love you and miss you much we have done alot you have tought me things what's right what's wrong what's good what's bad I joyed are long talks on the phone. I joyed watching movies with you on the couch at your house when I spend the night over. You have watched me graduate from high school. You have been there for me and sis and anna. I loved how you and jeramie got along I loved your hugs and you were my bestfriend dad I loved how we have a closed bond together. You were the one i always called to get advice from you always told me I can do anything if I put my mind to. That's anything is impossible I wish I can tell you that night on Tuesday that I love you. Thank you for everything dad I love you and I will always miss you dad.

We had such a wonderful Christmas together this year with Adam Hughlett sitting right behind my chair opening his gifts. This next year we walked decked out in our PJ’s to the 66 gas station to see Christina at her job on Christmas Day. The year before was one nobody will forget with him shooting everyone with his new nerf gun...
