Born in Huntington Beach, California, Shawn graduated from El Modena High School and pursued a career as a dedicated electrician.
Shawn was a loving and caring man, known for his humor, generosity, and willingness to help others. He cherished spending time with family and friends, enjoyed bowling and fishing, and brought laughter and joy to everyone around him.
Shawn is preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Autumn DeCleene, and his beloved nephew, Brandon DeCleene. He is survived by his loving parents, Loretta and John DeCleene; siblings Christine Dellutui, Taunya Hazen, John DeCleene II, Joe DeCleene; sisters-in-law Monica DeCleene and Joanna DeCleene; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
A celebration of Shawn’s life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Westminster Memorial Park, Lakeside Chapel, officiated by Kenneth Mulkey, services will conclude in the Chapel.
Shawn will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.
