Steve & I go way back to our high school days. We used to hangout everyday and all we did was laugh. His smile and laugh were infectious.  In recent years we started camping with Steve & Dan.  So many fun trips. I will miss you my dear friend…until we meet again ❤️❤️

Dan and I have been friends since college. He introduced me to Steve and my first impressions were that he was funny and nice. If he made Dan happy, then I knew he was a good man.  I never saw Dan so in love and Steve seems just as much as in love with Dan.
I cannot imagine losing the love you of your life and way too soon in life. My heart goes out to Dan and Steve's family and loved ones.

Primo I’m sure we have family members that have more memories with you than others, but I’m thankful for the memories we have. You were taken from us too soon but my time  with you will never be forgotten… Rest well primo and enjoy your eternal life with our king. Love the Garcia family and Bobby 

My fondest memories as a child included Steven. We all grew up on the greatest street , Hilltonia. Steven was part of an amazing family which extended to more tíos and tias than I can remember. Sally was my other mom and an amazing role model. Regina was my little sister. What do I remember about Steve  Standley, his infectious laughter.  Playing hide and seek on the block. His hospitality to always invite you to his house for mama Standley’s cooking.  I wish we could have connected as adults.  See you  when we meet our Savior!

I will always remember talking to Steve on the phone.  Usually a short call would turn into a hour or more of laughing  and fun stories. I also will cherish my very first visit to Yosemite, thanks to Steve and Danny.  We had so much fun!  I love you Steve and miss you very much, you will always be in my heart.

I met Steven and Regina as kid at the age of 8. They had moved in down the street.  We grew up playing together with all.the kids on our street. Regina became my best friend.  I will always remember his smile and laughter, even had a little crush on him at first lol. Sadden to hear of his passing here on the physical world. Steven may you now be able to share your smile in heaven. 


If I shared all of my memories of Steve I could write a book. The great thing is all of my memories have one thing in common... laughter. We laughed about anything and everything. And while I feel extreme sadness, I also laugh and smile when thinking of all those moments. He will live in my heart, and in my laughter, forever.
