Terri Lee Melvin, age 62, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2020.

She was born April 29, 1958 in Long Beach, California to Gordon and June Seyfried. Terri graduated from Millikan High School in 1976 and received an Associate's degree in Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Studies from Cypress College in Santa Ana, California.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, June Rose Denny

Terri served as the Executive Director for the Training Institute for Addiction prior to her illness. She was very devoted to helping others overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol and her memory will live on in the lives of all those she mentored over the years. Terri was also a passionate advocate for the National Kidney foundation, recognized as a top volunteer.

Terri is survived by her father Gordon Seyfried of Yucca Valley, CA; her son, Donovan Melvin, 13, of Anaheim, CA; her brother Mark Seyfried of Oklahoma City, OK, her step-sister Pamela Jacobus of Colorado, a special niece Shauna Clark and her husband Travis, cousins Joyce Neely and Barbara DelPozo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Terri’s favorite charity, The National Kidney Foundation, at www.kidney.org.

Terri's final resting place is Westminster Memorial Park 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA 92683
