I am saddened to hear that he passed away. It wasn't until just before our 40th reunion that I found out. My condolences to his entire family.
One night, while still in high school, Tom had a poker party at his parents' home. Good time playing for prizes, not cash. My last second uninvited neighbor outdueled me at the end, and I was not pleased. Still so much fun as Tom was a great host as I am sure he was as a husband and father. Class act....

I had the opportunity to work with Tom.  A sincerely funny, down to earth gentleman who truly was a mentor.  Always willing to share his insight and experience to my benefit, asking for nothing in return.  My sincere condolences to his family and his friends.  This one  hurts....

I remember helping him and giving him advice on how and when to propose to you. He was so excited. So in love!! You two were perfect together!! I’m so sorry for your loss !! Sorry for your babies that have to go through this. He is seriously one of the best men I’ve known in my life.

It is with deep sadness and regret in hearing of my former partner and friend's recent and sudden passing... My sincerest condolences to his Family, Friends and co-workers.  Tom and I met as newbie deputies at Men's Central Jail (MCJ).  Our paths crossed several times over the years and we had the ability to pickup where we last left off.  Always reminiscing and laughing about some work related story.  Tom was smart, witty, a great cop and better human being...  You will be missed, now fly with the Angels my brother!

Tommy.  I’m saddened to hear this. I was just reminiscing with him on FB about playing baseball on our street on Belvedere and having to watch out for the crazy drivers coming around the corner off Hughs lane. He was good friends with my brothers Tony and Jerry...always  fighting over baseball cards.  I will miss all your sense of humor you put on FB and your dedication to the men in blue! ❤️


Veronica and children I know the pain you feel over the loss of your beloved husband and father. Tom was man of strength and yet loved and cared for others. As a neighbor he looked out for us seniors and widows having the children learn how to help others and take nothing in return.  Always a wave and a smile when ever out. During this stay at home he and Bella came over with paper goods as a gift so I would not have to get out.  He is a part of each and everyone of us. My husband is now gone and they both loved classic cars.  Tom and my Bob are our Angels watching over Bluesails Dr. There will never be another Tom.  God walk with this wonderful family.  


My name is Elias Cuevas a Retired Deputy Sherriff .  I’m at a loss for words , with great sadness of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.  It was with great honor to have known him . Forever in our hearts . 

Met Tom when I was assigned to Narco.  He was a great detective, who was grounded by his family.  Tom lovingly talked about his beautiful wife and children, they were his world.  As a detective Tom was very knowledgeable,  he was smart, knew the law and made me laugh.   I was saddened by his sudden passing, Tom will be missed. 

It was a great pleasure to have worked with Tom.  He was a hard worker and loved his family a great deal.  RIP

Was a great Husband, Father, and Friend.  He had the best sense of humor and could always make you laugh.  We always went at it when it came to hockey, i liked the Kings and he liked the Red Wings (why i have know idea).  We both enjoyed cigars and would talk about which ones we preferred.   We meet through softball and shared a lot of time watching our daughters play and grow up together...  He will be truly missed but i know he wouldn't want us to be sad over this... We will celebrate you and we know you goofing off in heaven...im sure of it!!!  RIP TOM we all  love you!

Tom was one of the best Narcotics detectives and considered an expert in his field.  But more importantly he loved his family and his job.  Narcotics Bureau will not be the same without him and we will forever remember him and his work ethic.

Tom Rest In Peace !

I had the pleasure of working with Tom when I transferred to Narcotics Bureau in 2014 until my retirement in 2016.  As a Lieutenant I had oversight of the Parcel Crew which is where Tom worked.  Tom was the leading expert in drug smuggling via the U.S. Postal service as well as Fed Ex and UPS.  Tom was also an exceptional co-worker.  Tom and I had many hours of conversations about our daughters and their athletic accomplishments.  Tom was so proud of his daughter and her softball skills.  I know he was over the top delighted that she was accepted to Boston University even though it meant she would be so far away from home during the school year.  It was an honor an a privilege to have know Tom.  He was an outstanding Detective and a true gentleman.  He will be missed.

The last time I spoke to Tom we were talking about Nicole leaving to college. I remember that he has asked about Danielle and how she was doing.  I explained that I was excited that she was thinking of spending Spring break with us, and he giggled and said not to hold my breath. Well he was right, she stayed in school “studying”.  Tom you will be sorely missed by us. Thank you for all the great conversation about our kids. You will forever be in our hearts, you left us to soon, but we will keep your memory alive always. I'm so very sorry to hear about Tommy. I went to elementary, jr high, and high school with him.  Even though I had not seen Tommy in many years, we kept in touch on Facebook. I have no doubt that he is now sharing all of his hilarious memes with God.

I dont have any pictures ..other then the memories I have., and I picture Tommy and I growing up together with so many great times ..elementary, jr high and high school. He will be so missed and he was such an importance in my early years growing up..we were pals...best of the best...

I knew Tom through his work with our agency.  He was a  good detective, very thorough and dedicated.  It was a pleasure working with him.  My condolences to his parents, wife and children.  

Tom,  I really enjoyed having you as a baseball teammate in college.  Though we had not seen each other for 37 years it was great to reconnect and chat on FB.  Rest in Peace my friend,, Until we meet again!  

I was so honored to have had Tommy in my life. First as a best friend then later as a Step-Brother.  In our younger years we’d constantly mess with his parents, play hide and seek in the middle of the night at a golf course with other teenagers, to him writing Help Me on the bottom of my shoes when he was the best man at my wedding, he always made me laugh!  I loved this guy to pieces! My prayers go out to his parents and Veronica and the kids! Tommy was a Once in a Lifetime Guy who will truly be missed!

Rest In Peace Tommy. We grew up as neighbors and throughout life. Finally reconnected years later. My heart is sad.
