My dear sweet Grandma was such a kind and giving soul. She'd make everyone that she met her friend. She was so smart and interesting to talk and she would really listen to you. I met her 15 years ago when Kris and I started dating. She treated me like one of her grandkids with open arms right away and I loved her so much for that! She was such a great hugger and would give you the sweetest kisses looking straight into my eyes and always telling me that she loved me! I miss her so much! I miss hearing her say "goodnight sweetheart and may God keep you in his care." I will always love her and thank her so much for being the awesome person she was! Love always, Rita

Mrs. Verda Lydia Thomas, granny was such a wonderful person. I’m so blessed to meet & worked with this gorgeous & very beautiful lady with a unique personality. God crossed our paths . . . I’m so thankful to Him . He has really a purpose . Granny has a good heart ❤️, welcomes anybody, shares her love & care. She always have time to hear your worries & problems and make you feel better. She’s tough & independent because she has her own way on why she come up with any kind of opinions & decisions she chose . . . independent, she’s really trying her best to do such tasks by herself. She always make me laugh. . . there’s no reason for me to be bored for almost 5 yrs. of staying with her . . proving that she really have a good sense of humor. We will really miss her sweet smiles, her funny & interesting stories, her motherly love . She’ll be always in our heart forever & I will not forget all the things & memories she shared with me . No matter how painful for us that she’s already gone but one thing for sure, I know she’s happy with our Heavenly Father and at last she’s back together with grandpy . . Thank you so much our dear & sweet granny. . . me, Dario & the rests of our family love 😘💕you 🌺🌼🦋💐🌸 & really missed you

Verda Lydia Thomas was such a dear, genuine, and caring grandmother. She had these prayers that seemed to work like magic for me. Any time I was going through any of my trials and tribulations, I would ask, Granny, could you pray for me? I'm goin' through allot right now. She would say, "I will, honey... I pray the good Lord will keep you in his care... I love you so much, Joseph. You come see grandma sometime now, you hear?" I love you, Granny! I will forever hold you in my heart. May the good Lord keep you in his care, and we take solace knowing that you are reunited with Grandpa once again up in heaven.

I know Verda "granny" as one of the most loving, patient, kind, souls on Earth. She truely embodied the quote that "everything is either an act of love, or a call for it." I am blessed for having known her, and for having been able to enjoy her company at home and on Las Vegas trips. She had an amazing life, and was an ultimate survivor. I hope she gets to come back as the multi talented entertainer she always wanted to be. Alley Cat (piano song she played) Rocked!! She opened her arms and heart to everyone. A mother Theresa in her own right. Smart, funny, a great example of dignity and grace. She had common sense, which seems very uncommon today. I miss her already, the world is a lessor place without her. God bless all her family and everyone who's life she touched. I am a better person for having known her.

My Grandma Verda was the sweetest, funniest, kindest, most caring, wisest, spiritual person that I have ever known. She loved the Lord very much and taught me what Love is. She was my mentor and truest best friend throughout my whole life. I am SO very heartbroken that she is not with us on the earth anymore but when I keep realizing that she is actually with Jesus and my sweet Grandpa Bob again now, it makes me so happy for Her. I LOVE YOU AND WILL ALWAYS ADORE YOU, GRANDMA. THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR ME. I WILL NEVER, EVER FORGET YOU OR THE WISDOM YOU HAVE GIVEN ME. YOU WILL FOREVER BE STRONG IN MY HEART. Love Always, Your "Krissie- Baby." XO 🕊❤🌼
