

Willie Lee Kimble was born on November 14, 1949 in Jackson, Mississippi, where he spent his early years. He moved to Los Angeles, California after high school to pursue new opportunities. Dedicated to education and personal growth, he earned a degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles, and later achieved his MBA from the University of Southern California. He loved USC! He was rarely seen without wearing a USC shirt or baseball cap.
Professionally, Willie built a distinguished career as a Certified Public Accountant. Before retiring he served as an Audits Manager for Edison International, where he was respected for his expertise, integrity, and leadership and left a legacy of hard work and commitment.
In 2003, after four years of dating, Willie married the love of his life, Denise. He was a beloved and devoted husband. They lived life to the fullest and was filled with joy, partnership, and shared adventures.
Willie was a man of many passions. His favorite pastime was fixing and remodeling the home he and Denise shared, always taking pride in improving and caring for their space. He also spent countless hours studying global financial markets, driven by his brilliant and analytical mind. An avid fan of basketball and football, he loved watching games and sharing spirited discussions with friends and family. Holidays were especially meaningful to him—times filled with warmth, laughter, and the company of family and close friends, the people he treasured most.
Willie will be remembered for his generosity, intelligence, quiet strength, and the love he poured into his family and home. His memory will live on in all those who knew him.
After a long illness, he passed away on November 18, 2025 in Orange County, California. He is survived by his wife, Denise; his Sister Betty, Brother Samuel; In-laws Donald, Sara, Heike, Annette, Cecelia, Johnathan, Timberly, Nathan; Nieces and Nephews Eric, Alexandria, Ariel, Donovan, Brandon, Katrina, Douglas, Joseph, Christian (CJ), Aimi, Khoi, Zaci and grand-niece Lily Rose; and a host of others in our extended families.
