Together with my wife Mieke I express my deepest sympathy to Cheryl, Kevin, Rod and family at the passing away of their dear mother Audrey Wilkinson.
From July 2016 onwards, Audrey helped me with acquiring invaluable information about her relative Lt Thomas Arthur Metheral, who was shot down during a reconnaissance flight over Flanders (Belgium) in 1917. Thanks to her I was able to contact other relatives, who attended the commemoration ceremony for him and two other Canadian airmen in Belgium on May 18, 2017.
We kept corresponding since then. Audrey will always remain in our hearts and thoughts.

We will fondly remember Audrey and Bus as friends and neighbours from Yellow Grass. I sang with Audrey in the United Church choir for many years. Our latest visits in the Coop store were always memorable and we could catch up on family news during those quick visits. I listened to her concern over losing her independence when her family thought it best that she not drive anymore. But she knew that love of her safety was behind it. She had a good life and will be sadly missed. Our thoughts are with her family for their loss.
In Sympathy, Cindy and Garry Renas
