I am so sorry to hear about Gary. He and I went to school together in Stoughton. He had an extremely fun-loving nature and would look for any opportunity to tease - one such taking place in the OK Economy store in Weyburn. I went in to get a few things so had my purse under one arm and a bag of oranges in the other. Suddenly, I felt my purse being taken from behind, so my immediate response was to take the bag of oranges and connect with the head of whoever had my purse! It happened that it did, and the orange bag split open with oranges rolling all over the floor. Low and behold, when I looked to see who I had hit - it was Gary! I'll never forget the look on his face! I was pretty pumped because this time - I got the last laugh!
Gary was a special friend and even though I haven't seen him in a long while, his departure has left a great gap in my heart.
My sympathy goes out to all the family (many of whom I know).
Sincerely with Love,
Janet (Daley) Reiner

My condolences go out to Gary's family. I served on the Weyburn Minor Ball Board with Gary, which Gary served well during his time with the board. Our other connection was my Dad's pool hall in Stoughton. Gary was a few years older than me, but we we shared a love for the game of snooker, which we played occasionally at the old Elks Hall. He will be missed.

To all of Gary’s family we send our deepest sympathy. We are very sorry to hear of your loss. I (Donna Schrader) grew up in Forget next door to Salisbury’s. We shared so many wonderful times, lots of laughs, crokinole games, all of which have left many great memories to treasure. The Salisbury boys were like brothers to us girls. Gary and I share the same birthday (me being one year older). You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this sad and most difficult time. May you each find comfort in your special memories of Gary.

Salisbury family: I am so sorry for your loss of Gary. He was a very nice person. I had bowled with him at one time when he was still in Weyburn, I did get to have a visit with him in the Co-op store when he was down. When someone passes they become a memory, the memory the becomes a treasure.
